doesn’t this reflect an inconsistency with the conservative view? either government is inept and incapable of controlling economic issues, or economic regulation can work if implemented correctly. In the end, doesn’t the video assume that jobs are an indicator of the government’s performance and therefore assumes the latter?

If he was employed by a private company making this presentation, instead of the government, Mr. Reid would be one of those lacking a job after this speech!

Obama promised the jobless number wouldn’t rise above 10 %… it’s up to 17 %…. If it was Bush, the press, Olbermann… and the rest would be calling for Bush to be skinned alive.
