When I started at IBM, 70% of the workforce was in America. When I was laid off from IBM in February, less than 30% of the IBM workforce was located in the US. IBM holds itself out to be committed/dedicated to America and it’s economy. The numbers don’t support the official position. IF tax dollars should even go to private companies, it should be to those creating new jobs in the US. We’re going to end up with a real crises in the US if we continue down a path of zero job growth.

I love this quote. I love how Lou Dobbs spins it. Obama doesn’t say stop outsourcing, he says reward companies who don’t outsource.

Also, past evidence has shown that outsourced jobs can create new jobs. Delta outsourced 1000 jobs in 2003 and then introduced 1200. IBM outsourced 3000 jobs and introduced 4500.

P.S. The president doesn’t actually have as much power as you’d like to think he does.

we locals have done enough hard work and taken blame at our expense…you delusional and think you work hard..how hard? how hard to you work when you turn up 4 hours late to work everyday..the most famous of excuses..i have uni!! we locals work 100 times more harder and more honest..why we don’t get rewarded?

Your comment needs a correction

You: ” They have given enough money to india and india wants more ”

Me: They have not given…….as in FREE. India and indians have earned it……They worked for it…..Success is always rewarded..no matter where you live in this world.

obama is going against his word(S)

they are not afraid of competition..they have given enough money to india and india wants more..

When George W. Bush visited India as president in 2006 he said…..”AMERICA IS NOT AFRAID OF COMPETITION”.

Now in 2009 i ask this to any american who is reading this comment. ” ARE YOU AFRAID OF COMPETITION” ? If your answer is “NO”. then you know what to do next…But if your answer is “YES”, then go take a good look at yourself in the mirror and say it to yourself.
