why aren’t they protesting the wars?
UC Berkeley is known for protesting but I don’t know if students of other colleges have the courage to do so.
college riots are the next thing…..
keep up the great work and videos !!!
UCLA students stood up but UC Berkeley students stood up even more. UCLA students could have done alot more. Youtube it.
Hope my comment isn’t overgeneralising.
College students tend to be a bit smarter than average folk (barring people like Bush who get into fancy schools merely because of one’s connections) so it is expected that people of above average intelligence will be waking up — at least I would hope so.
It seems mostly the dopes around my little town who don’t wake up. I think it has to do with one’s intelligence at this point. Dumb people accept whatever happens. The less intelligent one is, the more abuse one takes.
Those people who hold the reins of the future in this country need to voice their opinions or they will have no future. Thank you UCLA students for standing up.
education should be education, not indoctrination
No more cuts, no more fees, education should be free!!!
five stars
There is a lot more protesting going on lately, and it’s good to see. To me it’s a symbolic act of spirit that inspires the culture.
btw, I just got book one of Sinister Forces, can’t wait to start reading
Berkley has a history of protests; I was wondering when they’ll get around to it now, good news, more sit ins, and antiwar rallys!
Well it is good that the students stand up to the B.S. tuition hike but there is nothing they can do about it, unless they burn down the colleges and move to another state for education. Essentially, the government drives up tuition cost by offering government grant and loans, which is good for students until the colleges take advantage of these programs. Funny how most colleges are liberal based and these future students that oppose these cost will come out of college with a liberal mentality..
quite invigorating isn’t it. I had the privledge of participating in this protest, no longer than fourty-five minutes ago when I was on my way to Evan’s Hall for a routine evening of study. when I was lured in by reiteration of the chant: “Who’s University? Our University.” Not before long I was in a arm-lock around a police vehicle which was transporting fencing material in order to barricade the administration building where the protesting originally formed
. what first gave me an inkling that something was happening was the fire alarm sirens going off from all the buildings. Apparently they systematically triggered almost all of the alarms, in order to garner the greatest audience, very inspiring.
Yes indeed.
Hooah! UC Berkeley .
That book sounded like weather warfare
was in the works long ago, interesting
I agree!
